I love going to the cinema. I go as often as I can. The big blockbusters are fun and I’m addicted to the Marvel movies but, a lot of the time I go see the small Indy films and often they are my favorite finds among all the hype and CGI that takes most of our bucks.

As a writer I’m picky about what I watch. I don’t do reality tv, don’t do all the celebrity focused shows, or all the mind numbing “entertainment” shows. I like to find something with substance, suspense, and care and attention to detail. I suppose that’s why I like going to the cinema. For two hours I can submerge myself in a story and can learn from the storytellers what to do, or not do, in my own work.
